Make the house clean
The celebration necessitates an amazing family get-together, and every household starts with a thorough cleaning and making sure everything is ready. As Ganesha’s seat, decorate the pandal or altar, where the idol is kept for 10 days. To avoid a last-minute rush, clean your house three or four days in advance.
Sacred bath
be up early, take a bath, and be ready on the day that Ganesh arrives. Bring your family member over to pick up your Ganesh idol. A permanent idol that they frequently use at home is used by some people, or they make their own idols.
Set up the idol
Once you’ve brought the idol home, place it in its designated pandal, which often consists of a tall platform or altar. Spread a clean new cloth on the platform and draw rangoli around it. Set up the idol and adorn it with floral ornaments.

Dhyan

Ahavana
The petition of Lord Ganesha should precede the Avahana Puja. The chanting of the Ganpati puja vidhi mantra should be done in front of the Murti while making the Avahan Mudra, which is made by connecting both hands and folding both thumbs inward.
