Rahu

Rahu is also considered the north node of the moon and is one of the lunar nodes in Vedic astrology. Astronomically, it is not a visible physical planet like the Sun, Moon, Saturn and others. Demon named Swarbhanu noticed this and sat in the queue of gods to get some drops of nectar. This activity of Swarbhanu was observed by planet sun and moon, they give indication to Lord Vishnu who beheaded the demon.And unfortunately, he was immortalized. The body of Swarbhanu was divided into two parts the one was the head and other was torso, the head of Swarbhanu is called Rahu and torso is called Ketu.

The mystery of planet Rahu is considered bodiless and it has no limit of his wants. He remains unsatisfied because of his bodiless head. He always wants more; his needs can’t be fulfilled. Rahu creates an obsession within a person’s mind. Rahu has no physical body due to which it is called as Shadow Planet.
